ODM WORSHIPPING FORM OVER SUBSTANCE

It is sad that some ODM presidential candidates arguing for consensus have decided to put form over substance. They have been caught up with their camp that they do not care for the quality of the presidential candidate,so long as it is not Raila or through delegates.No argument will justify leaving the most qualified candidate in the name of "beating Kibaki.The language is that they should find a candidate that can beat Kibaki,but the substance is that they are not comfortable with Raila's power.

"Their is no way ODM should send boys to do a man's job, you need "Agwambo."Kalonso and his colleagues seems to have some of this puritanical hang ups that a luo should not be a president:They need to tell it as it is! Since tribalism is something secret we have to follow it's footprints, marks and signs. Kalonso's argument is tribalistic.

The question is, why does Kalonso think that Raila's supporters will always accept the short side of the stick? The gravest source of inequality of opportunity in Kenya is not that some regions are economically left behind but rather the opportunity to formal education, healthful diet and medical attention:This is the priority of Kenyans, we should not be distracted.
