Kenya Politics - Revelations # 4

Dear Kenyans,

My 10th great grandfather, Ragem appeared to me yet again. He has revealed that there is no way the ODM-K Elder of Councils will arrive a universally accepted presidential candidate through their current method. He further pointed out that consensus is NOT 'consent to me' nor is it concession by the lone ranger upon being out numbered by his peers. Consensus is not peer pressure or election by acclamation or mlolongo. Remember how during the mlolongo elections, many good leaders were defeated just because the late comers to the polling station felt embarrassed to join a shorter queue? Consensus is not election by isolation or confusion.

A true consensus is genuine at-will concession using the old adage regarding a gentleman's proclamation, "You first".

However, my 10th great ancestor Ragem, pointed out very clearly that politicians are only gentlemen in very rare instances. It is those few instances, those rare opportunities, that make very few great politicians. They gave the example of one great one from the south, Madiba.

Some have doubted that the appearance of my 10th great ancestor is an illusion. We'll, those who know me and have hang around me remember that I accurately predicted the Popes death, and who was going to succeed him. Recently I predicted that Uhuru was going to leave ODM-K and it happened. I also predicted that there was going to be three defections in Kenya, and you saw what happened with the coast politicians. What my 10th great ancestor reveals will happen, seldom fails to happen. The only time it does not happen, is when I, as the witness of the revelations, fail to see clearly or understand. Some times, sand gets in my eye and there is a ringing in my ear when the revelation is too big.

This time my 10th great ancestor has a message to ODM-K. "Forget Consensus led by the council of elders alone. It does NOT, will not work. You have very little time. Forget voting by the delegates. My my 10th great ancestor suggested that we should sequester all the ODM-K presidential candidates and not let them out until we see white smoke from the chimney. If they have a 'Hung Jury,' let ODM-K disband, each candidates goes back or forms their own front.

However, my 10th great ancestor requested the Council of Elders, led by Fred Gumo and The ODM-K Election Board to hold an open forum where the candidates can share with the public openly how they will reward their opponents should they win the primaries and the general elections, and what other positions they would be contended to serve should they lose the primaries. *A candidate who fails to publicly disclose and sign a 'promissory note' should not be sequestered to elect the ODM-K presidential candidate!*

The good news is that my 10th great ancestor assured me that a candidate will be selected.
