ODM candidature is decided : Raila given the short end of the stick again

I concur with Dr. Abonyo's sentiment on the ODM's power playing. If Raila cannot get support from the other contenders simply because of his being a luo, then it is time Raila came up with an "NDP" kind of strategy. After all is that not what Musikari Kombo has been doing all along with FORD-K? Luos can always do better by having a party that represents their own interest, especially when it becomes quite obvious that other communities in Kenya would rather agree to become a team when it comes combating Luos.

We will be fine all the same. We should neither support Kibaki's re-election nor support any other ODM-K's preferred candidate if that candidate is not Raila period. We should take over LDP and use the party as our platform to bargain with future governments for development in Luo Nyanza. Raila should vie for presidency on the LDP or whichever party that will be if ODM does not nominate him.
