Ruto is the voice of reason in ODM - Says who? From: Julius Okelo Joseph Kwimba's assertion that Ruto is the voice of reason in ODM cannot go unchallenged. Ruto has realized that the dynamics of rift valley politics has challenged. Obviously he has to look for a soft landing. Why would he suggest to step down for either Kalonzo or Mudavadi and then immediately quip that he would not mind serving as a vice president or deputy prime minister. Where is all this coming from. When Raila and others suggested consensus back then, others especially Ruto and Kalonzo beat the idea and stated that they would not want ODM to nominate a presidential candidate NARC's style because of what followed NARC government after MoU was not honored. So it would be best to say Ruto is the voice of confusion and inconsistency in ODM. Kenya does not such leaders. Secondly, for Kwimba to state that Kalonzo or Mudavadi are the best candidates for ODM is but to state that they have some qualifying reasons for this. The question is what are these qualifiers? What has Kalonzo or Mudavadi done in the history of freeing Kenya's democracy. WHat did they do when Moi was the President? What did they do to bring section 2A to the table that allowed for multi-party politics? Think again Mr. Joseph Kwimba. Raila is the man to support not the other two novices you are fronting.
