Kibaki Commissioned Dominion's Rice Processing Mill

Fellow Kenyans and Nyanza residents in particular, critism has always been flying around the investment at Yalla Swamp by our Investor Dominion Farms, Mr. Calvin Burgess, now is the time to realise that we need to focus soley on development initiatives as been witnessed by the Commisioning of rice mills at Yalla by the President, this is a clear indication that Dominion is a genuine investor and we as Diasporians should shun petty politicking without positive results, it is about time we realise that politics only will not put food on the tables for those majority of Kenyans who are disadvantaged, those who the sun sets on them and they do not know where their next meal is going to come from.

Kenyans are rising above the politics of hate as witnessed during the meeting of four representatives from 4 lake region countries in Kisumu city hosted by President kibaki, we need to shun critism and come up with a solid resolution to our poverty in Luo Nyanza and the entire Kenya. Imagine if we had four a similar Dominion projects in Luo Nyanza, hundreds if not thousands of Luo's lives will be turned around 180 degrees, either directly or indirectly.

My humble appeal to Luo Diasporians is to direct our energy on a positive critism that will spur our economic development for the entire Luo Nyanza and Kenya in general.

Finally, to the Diasporians, let us come up with ideas of how we can have a development initiative focusing on how we can support development projects like Dominion Farms or how these investors can support us in develop ourselves and our motherland.
