A leakage that send a chill into our spinal cord

We Luos

The leakage about Kalonzo representing ODM as presidential candidate did not go very well into our inner ears, believe it or not. But somebody said one time that. ; there is no smoke without fire (` Iro ok wuog kuma mach onge`). Hon. Raila has always been using football game to send messages to people, well this time I want to tell you something about football game.

In football, the object of the game is not to run up and down the field. The object is to score goals and win. There is nothing that we played better than them but they won. Just like the same vein, the object of business is not to create plans and spend money. The object is to earn a profit. Another thing is DO NOT go to business with fellows you DO NOT TRUST period. But what ever differences in our physiology and our preferences we are all in the business of maintaining our sense of existence and survival. Just as some one said that those people who declare war have to lead the fighting, we do not want armchair warriors. Stupid business means the loss of what makes life worth living.

I do not think that there is any Luo now who can be very proud to be called a Kenyan, if we Luos know very well that we as Luos, non of us can be a president of our own country. In fact it is possible to make the great financial gains yet lose a significant part of what makes a person human. Each and every one of us at least remembers what a father or a mother tells their kids. The most important message from a parent to a kid is: you can become anybody ( profession, jobs etc ) so long as you work hard.

Another question I would like to ask is this; Suppose we have our own land or majiboism, and we Luos are given an opportunity to elect a KING or a royal family or even a president will we do it democratically? I doubt that because some of us are so much indoctrinated that they will force somebody into our mouth by force. Well remember that everything in this world is connected to everything else.

I think we Luos should look into our own future very carefully and govern our selves no matter who wins the presidency.

ABOUT THE COFERENCE IN AMSTERDAM

To Mr. Okumu, I do think I should congratulate you for choosing Amsterdam as the conference center for Yala swamp development, I apologize that I will not attend it. In fact Amsterdam is the first city on earth built on a swamp followed by st. Petersburg Russia. So anything is possible even in a swamp, and there is a very good relationship with Yala swamp.

BUT Amstersdam has also it’s dark sides. It is in Amsterdam where the giant Dutch company Shell has its head office. Every African remembers Biafra war. Shell company is the one exploiting the Nigerian oil. When they went there, they promised everything to the locals, they said that they will improve their life style, bring jobs, schools etc. Well, up to now the locals are still living like monkeys, who can not even see a doctor when sick. And their fertile soil has been destroyed by oil products so much that, they hardly grow crops anymore there.

As I said, in business you have to gain. If you put 1 shilling, you expect 10 out of it. So you just have to convince us how you and the development Yala swamp is going to improve the lives of the locals?

For cultivation even of rice then I do think Vietnam would have been the best place to see since they have been cultivating rice in swamps for hundreds of years. Remember also the fauna and flora of the Yala swamp, they are very important for our survival.

By the way why is Calvin Burgess taking pictures posing with president Kibaki?. What is the motive behind all these?.
