You are very much right hence the struggle for a new Kenya which many have only defined very narrowly.

The social transformation agenda MUST be broad enough to capture the education sector, the health sector, the security sector, the economic(business) sector, the agricultural sector, etc for every Kenyan to know from where they stand, how these issues are interconnected, defining their nation not the one that was defined as "Kenya" by the same colonialists and we went on to use the term from the peripherials.
