Uhuru has squandered chance to heal old wounds Donge en adieri ni kabinde ariyo ma o mistrust each other most in this country gin Jokanyanam gi Atwara? Donge en adieri ni this mistrust has historical politico-economic basis? Is it further true ni jokanyanam osetemo ka this mistrust can go away, but all in vain? Is it also true that we feel used, and that this memory arouses some bitterness? Those are questions for reflection. At independence, our own Jaramogi Oginga swallowed his pride and stepped aside for the sake of Jomo Kenyatta, Uhuru's own father. Kenyatta later betrayed his colleagues, and even detained them without trial, and embarked on a wave of tribalism and nepotism that has continued to tear this country apart. In 2002, Our own Agwambo literally crafted the kibaki tosha campaigns that saw this govt in power. I think this was a good gesture to re-unite and diminish the mistrust between the two communities. Kibaki later betrayed him by dishonouring the pre-election pack. If Uhuru was a good student of history, he woulsd study these scenarios, and then say "this is my chance to do right whatever my father erred in", " Since Raila's father supported my father, i have decided to pay back and support Raila for the presidency this time" How does that sound?
