FOUR CANDIDATES TO GO FOR NORTH WEST KISUMU WARD SEAT SO FAR. From: Eliud Audi Four candindates from Karateng' community have so far publicly declared their interest to vie for the North West Kisumu ward councillor's seat in the forth coming 2007 general elections. Addressing public rallies in various locations within Karateng' over the weekend, the four candidates exposed their proposed development programes in an attempt to woo voters for the seat currently held by Mr. Nike Atieno from Barandingo village. Among the candindates is Mr. Francis Ondiambo Amollo from Chulayimbo, a trained p1 teacher, who prioratized the reconstraction of the collapsed Burlowo Youth Polytechnic. Mr. Owuor Obondi also from Chulayimbo, a former civil servant, who prioratized dialogue between the government and the electrorate as his major duty for the people of Karateng'. Mr. James Osok Metho, a former primary school teacher from Got Agulu, who prioratized sufficint road network as one of his major duties for the Karateng' community. And Mr. Walter Okeyo Agutu, a former civil servant from Burlowo, who prioratized education as his major tool for development in karateng'.
