Demonising Mugabe will not help I totally disagree with one Michael Mundia Kamau that Mugabe is the worst thing to have happened to Zimbabwe, and that Kenya should intervene and even close the Zimbabwean Embassy in Nairobi. People who do not understand the political and economic history of Zimbabwe should reserve their comments rather than hide under inflation. Zimbawean fight for independence, much like Kenyas, was fought around land, alienation and colonial brutality. Have you ever felt what it means to be a begging and unemployed squatter on your forefathers land? The truth is that Zimbabwean economic depression has been prompted by the West and America, hoping that this will cause internal revolt to be able to topple Mugabe. Even if you are a good farmer, you cannot come and take all my land and convince me that you will farm and sell the food to me? It was right for Mugabe to claim their land by force from the colonial remnants who did not even want to negotiate a sharing deal with the blacks. Though this has resulted in economic sabotage, one time it will bear fruits. If the Taita/taveta of the Coast would rise up in arms and fight away both Criticos and the Kenyatta family for their land, I would not blame them. The Kalenjins did it in Rift Valley and they havent regretted an inch. Kamau seems to be supporting land grabbing that some Kenyans are known for. Ushindwe!!
