ODMK UNITE FOR THE SAKE OF KENYA

Who wants to go through another Anglo leasing, another tribalistic leadership, another Artur brothers, another lukeworm leadership, another slapping of newsmen by a woman (fisrt lady), another Mungiki, another kenyan where you cannot own anything without worrying about thugs comming for it, another land grabbing, another lack of a modern constitution, another endless list of governement mismanagement of resources. Cetainly not the ODMK luminaries nor their supporters. However, if the luminaries fail to check their egos, then we are headed for exactly that.

As a supporter of ODMK I am urging the luminaries to find a solution to their problems as soon as possible. Give us a candidate, stop dragging this matter and holding your supporters at ransom. It is time to to make decisions for the benefit of Wanainchi as you guys always say.

You all know the solution to this problem. If you dont then I will give you one. First the inconsequential candidates ie the candidates who are polling below 10% should drop out of the race and officially endose a candidate.

That will leave us with only two candidates, Raila and Kalonzo. After that we go straight for direct nomination by the supporters of the party/delegates and whoever looses should support the winning candidate. We just make sure there is no faul play. Isn't that the way democracy works.

The money Ruto, Mudavadi, Nyaga, Ojiambo and the rest are waisting in their bid for presidency could have been used for mobilizing voters for ODMK in their constituency during the national election and not party nominations.

Why should they insist in waisting this money in their own bid for presidency when they know we can only have one presidential candidate. It is getting late. If we continue at this rate then ODMK luminaries may dance themselves to erxhaustion before the real dance.

As Ngunyi said, Kibaki may surprise you guys by calling snap elections because it is in his interest. What will happen to ODMK if this happens now. Learn from previous mistakes of FORDK and FORD ASILI. If ODMK looses becuse of your egos, you also loose because finally many of you will have to go back to Kibaki as beggars. You will be leaving a party where you own everything to the one where you own nothing and can be told to go anytime.

Furthermore your supporters will be devastated.

It is time something is done. Can somebody be the bigger man here.

I hereby request all ODMK supporters to put pressure on these leaders to give us a candidate before the end of July. It is absolutely urgent. ODMK may be caught with its pants down.

Kalonzo your time for presidency is not this time but its way. Let not the immediate things cover your vision for the future. If your presidency was meant to be it will be. Let the son of Odinga take the mantle this time.

Kalonzo, tear down this wall. Your supporters are waiting for your direction. Dont fail them.
