Re: Kibaki will win this Year's Elections Well, Allow a Kenyan from a different generation express her diasappointment over the 'source of tribalism' debate. This is what the debate on who will win this year's elections seems to have turned into. That there are many who are cocktail Kenyans and refuse to identify with one tribe is a fact. It does not matter who really the source of the tribalism that seems to haunt even achievers like Shem is. We of this kind have accepted that we are always the soource of tribalim. We here refers to the Kenyan populace; the 'yous' and 'mes'. What is of importance at the moment is the need to do something fast about the tribal surge that is making Kenya seem like the proverbial dinosaour that ate everything on the Earth and finally ate itself, tail-first! The dinosaour actually forgat that it was the king of the Earth and simply sought to prove that it was the king of the Earth. Thus, we are eating ourselves with the tribal debate. To end this craze over our tribal scars that revolve around the Luo Presidency plan of LDP and the Mount Kenya mark on Narc (according to Shem), I would dare to suggest that we all accept that the plans on how to win the next General Elections always begin immediately the current ones end. We can see this in what Kibaki did even as many thought that he was not only physically incapacitated but also mentally so. He has proved them wrong and no wonder the birth of Narc - Kenya and the gain of popularity as the elcetions draw near. We can see the freebies that came and more in the making; new constituencies, CDF, anti-Mungiki campaign, Shoot-to-kill robbers, even the anti-smoking campaign that draws the masses nearer. What has been a long term strategy on Kibaki's part is now been described as 'tribalism' by some. Open your eyes and agree that our old pal Kibaki is indeed a very good strategist. He has been preparing to win since he got into the presidency in 2002. No wonder, he is ready to win, a fact that many have to face.
