My fellow brothers and sisters!

It is indeed a small world in which we live ... thanks in part to the internet.

I simply must share this story of this African-looking ANGEL I came across in a local museum. While making small talk, I told her I was from Kenya and she mentioned some Kenyan (a Kisii) guy she dated for five months then rolled her eyes in disgust. She proceeded to tell me horror stories in dealing with this man. Out of curiosity, I asked for a name.

The name ... Steve Makwae Gekara.

Is this not the same Steve Makwae Gekara who posts lengthy writings on jaluo.com and elsewhere? Boasting of how polite he is and buttering up Luo women???

The very things that he preaches that we Kenyans must work on, is the very opposite of what he practices. Apparently, Mr. Gekara's negative reputation is known across the Dallas Metroplex and beyond.

He befriends and talk talks talks about GOD to good and hardworking women and men at bus stations, churches, universities, grocery stores, etc. Then convinces them to let him live with them. Once he's in, he runs up their phone bills, borrows THOUSANDS that is never repaid, writes bogus checks, take their money, then threatens the victim with "Kenyan Mob Justice" when he is denied.

I contacted Mr. Gekara privately and hinted around about this woman and he become VERY DEFENSIVE with his denials of EVERYTHING. If you are innocent, why become defensive?? I felt in my spirit that this woman had been honest with me and Mr. Gekara's response only validated what my spirit felt.

WHAT A DISGRACE TO OUR PEOPLE!

I write this to warn ALL to please BEWARE. This man is not who he claims to be. He is indeed a Wolf in Kenyan clothing.

AND TO MY KENYAN SISTERS: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE protect yourself if intimately involved with this snake. If you become pregnant, he will not be able to help you financially or otherwise. But more importantly, protect yourself from any diseases.

I will keep our the Luo sister currently involved with this man in my prayers.
