With alliances emerging in ODM-Kenya, a group of leaders from the Maa speaking communities have now come out in support of Raila Odinga.

The leaders claim that there was a plot by a section of Rift Valley Members of Parliament to isolate Raila.

They said the consensus being speared by the said MPs was not binding since they were championing their personal interests. 

The party has been dealt the first knock out by failing to beat Saturday's deadline to nominate its presidential candidate and all eyes are now focused on next Tuesday's meeting when the party's top organ meet to give direction on the way forward.
