NGO EXECUTIVE TO TAKE ON OJODE Political temperature is heightening in Ndhiwa constituency following fresh revelations that an NGO operative who is the Executive Director of Women Shadow parliament Mrs. Monica Amollo has joined the Parliamentary race to take head on combative incumbent MP Joshua Orwa Ojode. Amollo who is a management consultant was formerly an Executive Director with PROWED in Homa Bay District where the outfit main objective was to tilt and mobilize women on mainstream governance in early 2000. Through her NGO net work she is credited for initiating various development projects like building of churches, schools, drilling of bore holes among others. Amollo thunders that Ndhiwa people have lagged behind in terms of development sitting dilapidated state of roads as an example and therefore she is beckoning with a change to salvage the constituents from the york of “desperation”. She will however brace for the shrewdness, propaganda antics of the incumbent MP Orwa Ojode who is known to be a strategist and a crisis master when under Siege. Other contenders who have joined the fray are Vocal Mbita Ferry Director Ted Odero, Youthful and resilent N.G.O guru Neto Oyugi, former magistrate Oyoo Kanyangi and England based Dennis Orero all ODM – Kenya ticket in what Keen political pundits believe will be a battle of titans.
