WE NEED PROPER PLANNING FOR RONGO TOWN.

This is a small upcoming town along Kisii to Migori Highway. It is the junction to Homa Bay Town and also junction to Ogembo and Kilgoris towns in Gucha District. It is situated in Kamagambo Location in Rongo Division in Rongo District. It is a very busy place with lots of social and economic activities from Farming, Shops, Offices, Hospital, BAT leaf Center, Kuja School for the Deaf, Catholic Pastoral Center, Police Station and many good schools around it. Most of the residents are very friendly and welcoming people.

There are lots of complains about the upcoming small towns with no proper urban plannings (Rongo included) in Kenya as awhole.. Where should we put our blames? It is a complete failure of the government not to inform the residents, to guide, advise or to give the proper map and the infrastructure of their town. Most of small up coming towns in Kenya are just filthy slums, and no proper town planning.

The residents of Rongo town wants this mess to stop and Rongo Town should be a shining example for the rest of upcoming towns in the province or the entire country to copy. We need a clean town, with proper roads and streets with names, proper plumbing, sewage and sanitation, garbage collections and street lights, and clean water for all the residents. The buildings should be painted nicely.

Nakuru Town used to be the cleanest town in the entire country and the government should explain what went wrong and messed up the cleanliness of Nakuru. It is a collective resposibilties of various government Ministries to be blamed. First and foremost is Ministry of Health, Followed by Ministry of Local government,Ministry Of Works, Ministry of Panning, Ministry of Finance and lastly Ministry of energy. These ministries should be held responsible.

Kenya needs modern towns with modern buildings not rugged sructures left by the colonialists in the sixties. Let us work together to bring good changes in Kenya. It is our beloved our country.
