Nairobi candidate in ODM-K Today, the people of Nairobi, once again confirmed to the world that Hon Raila Amolo Odinga is our Nairobi candidate in ODM-K. We had an enriching road show which started with prayers at Jesus Is Alive Ministries along Haile Selasie Avenue at 9am. Pastor Margaret Wanjiru was at her usual best when she introduced Hon Raila to the congregation. Just slightly earlier, Recho Shebesh, Elizabeth Fagilia, Hon Rueben Ndolo, and Mama Idah had captured the attention of the congregation by their moving speaches in support of Hon Raila as the ODM-K touch bearer. Hon Raila is simply the best in the pack. He comes from Nairobi, the head quarters of Kenya. He has a history that supports his bid. The man has been consistent in the struggle, and he knows what the problem is, and he can fix that problem. The entourage then moved to start the tour at Githurai, Baba Dogo, Korogocho, [you remember the people Lucy hates, Raila was there], Dandora, Komarocks, Kayole, Jakaranda, Donholm, Outer Ring Rd, Juja Rd, into Eastleigh then to the famous Kamukunji. All along the way, one thing was dominant; that Raila is our candidate in Nairobi. The people of Nairobi must hence now go the extra mile, to ensure that 'one of our own' becomes the next president of Kenya. Nairobi is the centre of everything, and I believe, we can also produce a son to occupy State House. This time round, it is our turn, the people of Nairobi, to lead while others follow, for our candidate is simply the best. Central Province has given us two presidents. Rift Valley has had their turn. Nairobi should take it this time, as Coast, Eastern, Nyanza, Western and North Eastern wait for their turn.
