Re: Fast Forward 2008: FIVE PILLARS OF THE KENYAN YOUTH AGENDA AND VISION Werugia, I missed this but it has come to me now. I like your scenario, only that I would want the roles reversed, Kibaki to resume being leader of the official opposition so that he could put Raila on his toes. I know Orina would like to remind us of the core vallues and the youth mandate core values. He must do that to be an effective moderator. But then, the misrule of this government affects him just like it affects all Kenyans, But those are better achieved with an effective president, one who will not dream of economic growth, but one who will engineer actual growth; growth that reaches you in your sitting room. Growth that you feel when you board a matatu, growth that you feel when you go to the super market. Growth that you feel when you go buying parafin, or when you are fueling your car. Growth that you feel when you take your children to school, when you go buying for them school books, not growth eloquently dreamed about. The core values of the youth agenda will only be realised when the youth of this country take a hard look around, and see if we have a bridge to the other side.
