Why I want To stand for elections...

Welcome to the club, and I wish you well.

We know the president has done well, but well in the wrong direction. He has enhanced tribalism, encouraged corruption, done nothing on insecurity, refused to build the road from Nairobi to Malaba, confused our education system, given away our national parks for political gains, and a lot more.

I live in Nairobi, but I come from Yimbo, and where I live, the youth are jobless because all the jobs there were, the president gave out to his friends, some old men and other retirees. All the contracts available have been given out to rich men, people who can give out business bonds in millions.

And above all, the man you praise so, promised us a new constitution in 100 days, and now, five years down the line, nothing is forth coming.

I am hence left at a loss that you want to contest to continue with the good work your mentor has done.

I would rather we all root for someone else who can bridge us to the Kenya we all desire, but not to maintain the status quo.
