GM Crops

It would be sad if Kenya(ns) were to give in to pressure from America(ns) to grow genetically modified crops for two major reasons:

1. Health and environmental issues is still a grey area with a potential dire negative impact some decades down the line.
2. The major export market for kenyan agricultural produce is Europe which is still not warm to GM crops.

So kenyans need to take the stand Zimbambwe has taken in this issue - that is ban even donated GM food grains (maize,beans) because some people might use them as seeds- hence contamination.

People should not rely on politicians because they will always give in so long as their hands are greased. They don't protect their subjects as they are more full with themselves.
