re: Facts of life Abroad!/ Fresh Air!

SLOW DOWN WANANCHI!

Wananchi,

Mose there is absolutely no way you can compare Luos with Kisiis in certain things.

Let us work hard as a community and stop pretending we are far much better.

Parts of Luoland are covered with a large water mass called Lake Victoria and some parts are covered with hard surface rocks and underneath.

Other areas are prone to excessive flooding and the soil in most parts is somehow un-productive agriculturally.

THE PEOPLE ARE VERY BRIGHT!

Kisii-land in its entirety is very fertile and very productive agriculturally.

The population is large and the plots per family is diminishing due to population pressure.

THE PEOPLE ARE VERY BRIGHT AS WELL.

What is the point?

Kisiis are blessed with the land, bright people, and everything else.

For some reason we have not exploited the potential to lead in Kenya.

WE ARGUE TOO MUCH!

Any time someone bring up anything constructive to share in the Diaspora and on the Ground through the forums Gusii brothers go on a rampage.

I have not in any way told anyone my HEART and my little legs are LUO God forbid!

Take a breather and read all my postings one more time. I whole-heartedly present that 1% that may help us learn and share constructive ideas to grow.

We cannnot develop fully unless we get rid of the notions of rigidity and the aspect of being jealous and self-accommodating.

I know brother Elijah Nyakeriga Magutu of the Dallas Metroplex very well despite the fact we are not that close.

I do respect him on what I know!

There is no need trying to resort to "charater assassination" publicly on issues most of the larger crowd deam close to the truth.

I'm not the brightest Gusii on-line and I don't claim to be.

All I do each and every day is share what I see as the small pieces that can be incorporated with input from others on-line, Abroad, and back home we grow togeher as a community.

Yes, I make mistakes like some of you. For one thing, we need to learn to accept views from others however biting or stupid they may sound and seem.

That said, there is nowhere I told Gusii men to migrate to the Lake Region to marry all Luos and leave any Gusii women in the desert or forest.

I simply stated Luo women are ranked number one in the Nation based on the things I stated earlier elsewhere and even the Kalenjins, Turkanas, Kikuyus, Maasais, and wananchi in general know it even though they don't want to say it like I do.

Yes, I respect Gusii women and my People are Gusiis I just would love to see us keep improving in every facet of life.

Please stop telling us "oh there are soo many Gusiis Abroad so we are on top of everybody and everything".

Look, it is a fact the number of Gusiis Abroad is astronomical. That said some never attend or attended school.

There are those who have been Abroad since 1980s and never completed an associate Degree. Some as long as ten years and they cannot defeat primary teachers they left home.

Let us share facts!

Therefore that make me think we lag behind the Kikuyus and Luos because most of them have Phds and Masters Degrees and are swimming in Professional Jobs in America, England, and Canada just to mention a few.

We are still trying to figure out things. God forgive me sharing this bitter bill openly!

Also, I know many Kikuyus in Dallas alone who run solid and stable business enterprises on the Ground through relational delegation.

When a Kiku dies here they need just a very small group of people to help add the balanceof cash they need to fly body remains home.

We must raise funds nation-wide at times to reach close because of most of our people work in medical fields which pay rlatively low. Nothing wrong with that.

It is only we lag behind. Yes, we do!

Yes, we have Gusiis with professional jobs and Phds but you cannot compare that with Luos and Kikuyus.

We are way way behind!

YES WE CAN CATCH UP! BUT LET US STOP SCARING TACTICS!

Here is another point:

I attended school in a very tiny small school in Kenya known as Mbita near Rusinga Island.

Yes, Mbita has about twenty or so wananchi around all with at least a Masters Degree. I'm among the lucky few, then again I worked for it!

Three quarters of these FOLKS are Luos! Doctors, etc...

Please let us not try assassinate Mr Steve Makwae Gekara from Mwanyagetinge Forum.

AGAIN:

Pastor Absalom Birai of Maranatha SDA Church Minneapolis Mnnesota has been sharing thoughtful, educative, and spiritual postings:

Mwanyagetinge
Publiceyesite
Jaluo.com, etc

It didn't take long before our Gusii brothers "hit hard" on him with disrespect.

'Same same old story!

I'm soo embarrassed to a point I feel like taking a long Sabbatical and leave.

Then again Gusii women need me on the forum because I brighten their faces with a strong sense of peaceful brotherly humour.

People write me privately and compliment me and most of them are Gusii women and pockets of Luos.

Brothers & sisters if you don't want me participate in this forum simply drop me private mails I will retire quickly and join somewhere else.

I'm very sorry for those who feel I'm out-smarting them.

Yes, I can stand up and be counted in matters of education, development, and within the Kenyan forums.

When I post anything wananchi read with pride because I make sense. I apologise for any mistakes.

I'm human!

Last but not least, I kindly urge our Gusii People not to loose focus.

Mr Steve Makwae Gekara is part and parcel of the Gusii community irrespective of the fact that we all agree to diasgree on postings.

Let us learn to accept input from others even if the points presened don't match what we have in mind.

Those who know me will tell you I'm a rare breed from Bosamaro and Kenya at large.

I look forward to continue sharing constructive ideas to the larger crowd fairly, respectably, and in a more friendly brotherly manner.

Any further querries, concerns, and questions will be responded to accordingly whenever time allow.

We are all one in the spirit and I will not run away from my People.

Kind Rgds,

Steve
