Re: The power of Nice

Today,I came a cross a very interesting book,"The power of nice." In this book, the authors are attempting to sell the idea of how to conquer the business world by being nice.

You and I know without question that in order to succeed in any kind of business, you must by all means be nice to the customers.As they say,"a customer is always right." Not very sure about that.

Do I support the concept of being nice? Absolutely. My only concern is that this concept is one sided.Having been in the retail business all my life,I can say with authority that I don't like the way customers/guests treat employees.

1.Very mean.
2.Very arrogant.
3.Very rude.
4.Very angry.
5.Very confused.
6.Very annoying.

One thing that customers forget is that employees are human too,have their own personal issues, and are there to make aliving and not to be yelled at.

In my opinion, what will work by turning this world upside down, is the power of " Being a christian." Can you imagine for a moment what this world will become like if we, all became like Jesus in every aspect?

Wow,just think about this:

l We'll love one another.
2.There will be no hatred, jealousy, arrogance, and any type of killing.
3.All will have enough to eat and live on.
4.Churches will be full praising the name of God.

It therefore goes without saying that we all need to be nice. But more than that,we are need Jesus of Nazareth. Let us all pray that we receive him into our lives to help us reach our personal goals. What do you think?
