Re:Whatever happened to the golden rule! Had each one of us followed the golden rule "Do unto others that which you want to be done unto you," Mathew 7:12,this world would have been a better place for every one. As it is,it seems that we have adapted the attitude, "Each one for himself or herself, and God for all of us." Although some of the things we do can be regarded as innocently so, a second look will show a disregard to others. Consider the following: 1.When preaching, please remember that some in your congregation have little kids, some are on medication and must leave by a certain time, and others are going to work. 2.When comforting those who have been bereaved be brief to the point. Further remember that others also want to speak. 3.When talking to your fellow tribe/country men, there is no need of using a different language. 4.Avoid jumping the line. Know that those a head of you have been waiting long enough. 5.If you find several people together, do not greet some and leave others.Don't you think so? Just a thought 612-386-4608 ThemaranathaSDAchurch.org . Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
