CATHOLIC PRIEST AIDED

Industrious Marie Stoppes Regional Director Cyprian Otieno Awiti has helped to raise a staggering Kshs.500,000/= in aid of A Catholic Priest in Nyakach Constituency towards the purchase of a vehicle which will enhance his evangelical work.

Awiti gave a personal donation of Kshs.60,000/=, Nyakach Parliamentary hopeful Ochieng Daima Kshs.25,000 and Raila Odinga through Cyprian Awiti Kshs.20,000/= among other donors.

The Director appealed to the Luo community to seek for God's guidance during the forth coming General Elections if they're to achieve their political aspirations.

In his brief speech Daima appealed to the government to intervene to curb the escalating cattle rustling wave and insecurity, which has gripped Nyakach of late.

Meanwhile Ndhiwa Parliamentary aspirant who is also NGO Executive Mrs. Monica Amollo has appealed to the Kenyan voters to vote for O.D.M Luminary Raila Odinga in the forth coming polls.

Amollo said of all the Presidential candidates its only Raila who can deliver the country from shackles of despair and desperation.

Her rival Ted Odero in a separate press interview appealed to Ndhiwa O.D.M adherents to remain stead fast behind O.D.M adding that the recent harmonization list of delegates shouldn't be an issue. Odero was apparently referring to squabbles, accusations and counter accusations attributed to a local MP Orwa Ojode that he tampered with delegates lists of ODM affiliate parties.
