Diplomat Kalonzo - “a coward who could not face up to any fight.” New Generation Kenyans, Ragem, my 10th great grandfather's prediction has come true. He revealed a while back that Kalonzo was going to run as a third force. Less than a fortnight ago, Kalonzo scored two goals. One was his defection to LPK and the other for nodding to Maanzo to completely run away with the bone. Raila had no choice but to take the ball back to center spot. Raila was caught off-side twice as he tried to score, once by instructing his team to force the referee (registrar) to recognize his team and next at the Kalonzo come-to-Jesus meeting, where the later could not quit his Idi Amin reasoning style. Today Raila has scored several goals in injury time. He has demonstrated that he can negotiate and concede issues that would hurt others personal ego for a movement to succeed. He has demonstrated that he can work with other tribes and that he can sell his ideas and persona to others not necessarily from his tribe. He has proved that it is not who the officials are, or the name of a party that matters. Rather, it is what the party stands for and whether it has a broad spectrum following. The onus now is upon Kalonzo to show he is able to lead from the front. Diplomat Kalonzo stated in bitterness: that Raila is "a coward who could not face up to any fight." Raila has more important fights facing him. Recently, Kalonzo claimed that he should be co-leader with Raila. Should! Did he deserve such big shoes? History tells a different story. It is a fact that Kalonzo has not headed any party and his highest responsibility was foreign affairs portfolio. He can captain a Kamba bandwagon and race to state house. What he does not realize is that he is living in the Matiba-Jaramogi times. Kalonzo will lead from the front alright, but blind like a bat, fails to recognize that there are 240 other political parties that lack a leader. One of those parties will fortunately get Kibaki. Ragen, my 10th great grandfather predicted that Kalonzo will indeed run on a Kanu ticket. He also predicted of Kenya's first woman Prime Minister. Previously he pointed at the face of Kenya's 4th president. All I saw at that time was a silhouette. Today, Lawyer Mugambi Imayara helped to shine a light towards this silhouette. -- Joram Ragem wuod Ndinya, wuod Onam, wuod Amolo, wuod Owuoth, wuod Oganyo, wuod Mumbe, wuod Odongo, wuod Olwande, wuod Adhaya, wuod Ojuodhi, woud Ragem!
