re: Assassination Attempt On Civil Society Leaders.

As much as I did not agree with the demo in the first place, I must stand in solidarity with all those activists whose actions invited unnecessary police force.

It was their democratic right to protest at what they thought was wrong, and the police had no business breaking that demo in such a manner.

The police must know that time has come when Kenyans must be let alone to ventilate their anger. If one feels offended by issues, one should have that right to freely hold a peaceful demo and go home.

The action by the Police on the activists was not necessary.
