Criteria for constituencies spilt I do agree that constituency boundaries ought to be reviewed every ten years but must the number be increased even if there are basic needs that the nation of Kenya has not addressed? Rather than pay such massive salary to the would be MPs, such money should be used to build health clinics or equip existing hospitals. I do not feel that Kenyan economy is stable enough to carry this laxarious pay for more MPs just yet. These people (MPs) are bleeding the country dry and unless the public wake up and demand that the portfolio of pay and allawances be removed from parliamentary service commission and an independent board be set up to look into such issues (pay) then we are heading into a bleak future. Otherwise where is the incentive to stop other groups from demanding a 300% pay rise in any case they (MPs) do not hold better certificates that the majority of Kenyans who make do with salary of 40,000 per month.
