Vs: MPS SHOULD EARN TEN TIMES THE SALARY OF THE LOWEST EARNING CIVIL SERVANT From: Paul Nyandoto Kenyans are now paying very dearly for electing a weak and later became unpopular president. If Kenyans make another mistake of re- electing Kibaki again in December 2007 for the second term, this looting will not end. But will automaticaly double. Since there is no 3rd. term for presidency. Kenyans are really in a very big looting of the tax payers money if Kibaki is re-elected. A leader should have a deep understanding of human nature and develop the ability to smooth out differences of opinion. He should possess the capacity for determined action at all times, and ruthless dedication when it is necessary.Good leaders worries about the quality and value of his work and does not seek recognition; he seeks the opportunity to provide better service. But above all leaders should be intelligent, knowledgeable and experienced. These leaders or MPs now seeking high salaries when they already have more than enough are NOT intelligent and actually does NOT KNOW the Kenyan economy, neither do they know that Kenyans are dying from diseases which can be treated elsewhere. While in Kenya people can not get those medications because MPs are driving expensive cars and getting too much salary. Is this what the British said in 1960s before Kenyan independence, that Africans can not rule themselves or what? Are these MPs trying to prove that the British were right then and all a long upto today?. Paul Nyandoto Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
