A VOTE FOR MUSYOKA IS A VOTE FOR KIBAKI

OOne does not have to far fetch anything to draw a conclusion that Kalonzo Musyoka has changed his conviction and his commitment for the common mwanainchi for personal gains. Yes he has probably sold his feasible birthright for a few pieces of silver. This is written all over statements read during and after his defection.

As the group supporting him read their statement they all echoed individual party coalition within ODMK of which until recently only one person within ODM was pushing for. That one person is Uhuru Kenyatta who so far as everyone knows is supporting president Kibaki's bid for presidency. It has been clear also that Kalonzo now supports Uhuru and there could be an agreement between the two not to form a coalition of their own but rejoin the government for pieces of ministerial positions. I call them pieces of positions because I believe Kalonzo had grown beyond the simple ministerial position. He grew to become a serious presidential contender. Where is the pride of Kalonzo. Just to support this notion is the fact that Kamotho and Musila when reading a joint statement in the company of seven other MPs allied to Mr Musyoka, Musila said: “We have, therefore, with immediate effect ceased to serve as chairman and secretary-general of LDP, respectively.” and went a head to indicate that they have got their NARC membership back.

The question is why do this people think that they can take wanachi for a ride all the time? Just the other day Kibaki was so corrupt, so dishonest, a dangerous tribalist and bla bla bla at least from the mouth of Musyoka, Musila and Kamotho but now their own party which they shed blood for during registration is totally nothing but a stupid old vehicle. Now Kibaki is an angel in their eyes. Who cleaned Kibaki up? Just days ago, Musyoka claimed in separate rallies that ODMK was united and is the party with a direction to deliver the constitution. What happened overnight. It is simple. Kalonzo could not be declared Tosha by Raila and since he is not man enough to stand on principle and accept defeat and may be settle for something better that what he is going to get in NARC he decided to eat the very food he vomited. Yes he is eating vomited food I dare repeat because the Kibaki ideology, era, form of government has not changed at all. Indeed it even went a step further into the dungeon of arrogance by reappointing Mwiraria that was caught on tape defending the fleecing of Kenya. How worse can this be.

Musyoka should have known that Wanainchi do not give a damn about people like Kamotho. Kamotho is used to lying his way to parliament. Kamotho has walked back and forth one road without achieving his objective to an extent that he doesn’t care if he just takes a hike for the shake of it. In fact he has walked the same road so many times that he doesn’t even know where he is going to when he sets off for the journey. My only hope is that he is not taking anyone with him through these exhaustive blind journeys. Wananchi expected more from Musyoka though. Wanaanchi believed that at long last may be Kenya stumbled into a leader that they have yearned for this long. People thought that Musyoka could at one time be there president and their statesman. But as they say at the feet of a fake shrines many shed off leave their crowns, thrones and even their kingdoms. Musyoka just sacrificed his kingdom because he has underrated the public this time. His presidency quest is history if he turns his back on ODMK. Wanainchi are quick to forgive political novices but not giants. Matiba and Shikuku sacrificed their kingdom the same way, they never got it back.

By Musyoka attempting to break up ODM he has betrayed his supporters and those who believed in him. His supporters have woken up demoralized not knowing what to tell their friends anymore. In the bars and trading centers people are asking whether Musyoka is still going to be working for their plight by delivering new constitution, eradicating poverty, tribalism, and corruption but all they see on the wall is one. I KALONZO MUSYOKA I WANT ME ME ME ME ME TIME. Its Kalonzo for president and nothing matters. Kalonzo is telling his supporters loud and clear that he no longer care about those principles that made him join ODMK. He is stating that NARC principles is superior to ODMK. My wonder is will the wananchi switch their tune this so many times just because of one person.

It is time for the people of Kenya to have a stand. All Kenyans must say no more corruption, no more tribalism, new constitution now and if Kalonzo has changed the music to sing yes corruption, no constitution, yes tribalism among other things then he must be rejected by peace loving Kenyans. Let him walk back to NARC alone with his sycophants. ODMK stand firm. Get the torch bearer now. Get the presidential candidate now. Since Musyoka is gone it is easier for your supporters. Nominate now.
