Restrict yourselves to issues of substance From: Akuku Mourice I feel sad when I read articles whose sole purpose is to condemm a whole group of people. We are all condemned to live in Kenya irrespective of ethnic differences. Life will continue whether Kibaki (sad turn of event) or Raila wins the next elections. Naturally, people are bound to have biases but we can only progress as a nation if we adopt a culture of tolerance. Let us adopt lines which give meaning and substance to the candidates we support. When we talk of economic growth for example, we examine if the 6% growth frequently quoted by the Kibaki campaign is due to his prudent economic management by the government. My opinion is is that any advancement witnessed in Kenya in the recent past has been fuelled by recent technological advancements in particular mobile telephony and internet because the whole of Africa apart from Zimbambwe is experiencing growth.
