Re: PROPAGANDA HURLED AT RAILA -: A shocking interview: Raila while
on his US tour recently Dear Matagaro: RECONCILIATION IS THE RIGHT DIRECTION And Jesus asked, "How many times to you forgive those who offend you?". I believe you can answer this question if you so desire to read the holy book. In this respect I would like to point you to the latest Raila statements that he is willing to forgive through reconcialatory committee in which those who have looted or done unholy things to Kenyan public will be allowed to confessed their and be forgiven. I also feel this is the right path because you and me know that this election will be "a make or break Kenya" Now let me let you into my thought process as far as the above statement is concerned. This election is going to be very close. The difference between the winner and the looser may be just 5-8%. These candidates must promise Kenyans unity after the election without which Kenya is a closed boling pot. If Raila promises no reconcialation then he is promising that each and every person who got staff through corrupt means is going to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. This means you start from independence to date. Mr. Matagaro, do you know how many people this will involve?, How many people will go to jail?, How many people who have since reverted to normal life will be victimised? And my friend how many of these people will take this with their tails between their legs. We are not interested in chaos. Mark my words any slight careless remark can lead Kenya in trouble. Have you thought about the fact that Kibaki may refuse to hand over power based on this fear. Or do you know how close we are now to the handover of power to a military government just because unthoughtful prosecutions. Raila has seen beyond the red sea and is willing to do everything to keep Kenya in sound health. The best way foraward will be to prosecute only those who refuse to confess and those who insist that they did the right thing while everyone knows their deeds. The past however dark it is is gone and must not haunt us anymore. We are looking for the future. We dont want wars we want change. Wars will make Kenya much more poorer and more corrupt. Forgiveness will push Kenya forward. This is the direction we must take untill the rule of law is re-established in Kenya. Right now we are living in a jungle. Kibaki came in and fenced the jungle and enclosed Kenya in the forest of poverty and winner takes all including those from the weak. Raila has seen the light and is willing to take a route of reconciliation, forgiveness, tough love and development. Lets join hands together and sing our national anthem. Kenya is too good to be thrown into chaos. Everyone has something to loose if forgiveness is thrown out of the window.
