Re: HON. KAJWANG 'ABOVE THE REST'?. NO, I DON?T THINK SO! It is quite unfortunate for Mbita parliamentary representative to post on this website information that is untrue and misleading. I wonder if Kajwang' would readily hoodwink us (any concerned constituent of Mbita) into believing that the allocation and use of CDF in the constituency is right. By all standards there's gross misallocation of CDF. First, a quick peep at the national Constituency Development Fund website ( http://www.cdf.go.ke/mbita_project_status_2005-2006.htm ) shows that three-quarters of Mbita Const. CDF budget is largely directed to Rusinga West and Waondo. The 2005-06 budget is a worst replicate of the skewed allocation in the previous years. Second, the various harambees Kajwang' is taking credit of were never organized by him. The Kakiimba Sec. School harambee was organized by the local villages and beaches in cooperation with Mr. Otadoh Okong?o, Hon. Saitoti and the former Mbita MP Mr. Peter Nyakiamo. If it's true he was instrumental in the Kakiimba harambee, then everyone might fail to understand why the locals would boo him down in Raila's company on a special trip to the same school. Third, insecurity in the constituency has been common, with neighboring countries maiming, killing and looting from fishermen, but nothing is done about it. This is absurd! Lastly, this will chill you to the bones! The MP has the temerity to pride himself in singing BADO MAPAMBANO. I don't thing Mapambano song has anything congruent to the needs of jombita. Jombita need service delivery not songs! If songs could be turned into security, medicine, books and good food, then nobody in the constituency would be leading a destitute life today, let alone needing an MP. To my knowledge and that of those that I know, Mbita constituents are greatly resentful of Kajwang's nature of leadership, and I know for sure that they have already identified a potential candidate that is driven by reason, morals and passion to bring positive change in Mbita const. I know the GOOD BOOK say our leaders are God given, but when people judged that Saul should go, God never questioned but did just that.
