Nyachae has reduced himself from an elder statesman to a mere village politician, he is aging with hatred and backward mentality that has no place in the present Kenya - he is still sold with his old belief that he is a mouthpiece of Abagusii - one of these days when he wipes cobwebs from his eyes, he will find out that there are new leaders who are able, better and beneficial to Abagusii community and Kenyans as a whole. I am still finding it difficult to put a finger on what he has benefited Abagusii as he has always claimed and felt. Can someone tell me whose benefit it is when Abagusii's houses are burnt to the ground who are residing outside gusii land on a very simple premise of Nyachae's primitive and old tricks that don't work? change is inevitable and if he is not accepting it; it would only and only change him - apende asipende.
