Connection Between Moi and Emilio!
My Dear Country men and Women, Democracy in a country of 60% of illiteracy from age 15 and above and the majority of which being women that holds the bigger voting block is no Democracy. I say this because we Kenyans have been taken for a ride far too long and we need to reach out to our locals to educate them on the need to vote and how to vote, not who to vote for but we need to let them know in their own dialects why they should vote and what to vote for. I know somebody reading this will argue that it is next to impossible to sit a 70 year old person in some remote areas in NEP or somewhere in Kenya, who has not seen a vehicle in their all entire life, somebody who has never seen a tarmac road or seen a light from a bulb or a clean water running from a tap, that he/she should vote for somebody who will bring all these. It is true and I agree with everybody on this but at the same time we at least have someone who can sit them down, these are the people that we need to bring to the light and show how they should reach to the old and the elderly in making voting decisions.
I feel so let down by politicians and our leaders if this is the kind of
The NARC government appointed Kroll and associates, a
Let me remind my fellow country men and women about the Kibaki Government
and the appointment of an Anti-Corruption Zar – Mr. John Githongo.
In January 2003 he was appointed to the position of Permanent Secretary for
Governance and Ethics by the incoming president Kibaki, who had been elected
on an anti-corruption platform. He resigned from his position on February
7 2005
[4]
without comment, though it was reported that he felt the government
lacked commitment to ending corruption and that he had received death threats.
On
22 January
2006
, Githongo named
Vice-President
Moody Awori
as one of four
top politicians (with
Kiraitu Murungi
, former justice
minister and present energy minister; finance minister
David Mwiraria
and former transport
minister
Chris Murungaru
) as being involved
in scams worth $600m – known as the
Anglo Leasing scandal
.
He also claimed that President Kibaki was complicit in the affair. The scandal
centred around the award of a huge contract given to Anglo-Leasing – a company
that did not exist. Githongo claimed that the money raised would have funded
the government's forthcoming election campaign. These allegations were denied
by Awori and Murungaru and an investigation was promised
[6]
.
For how long will we wait for this promised investigation, fellow Kenyans
what kind of evidence does the Government of Amos Wako and Martha Karua
and Kibaki wants for the culprits to be brought to book, all the ministers
Githongo named are back in the Kibaki’s Cabinet except for one.
Now you can see the connection between Moi and Kibaki and why he pledged
the full support for Kibaki’s re-election.
My dear Country Men and Women, the Kenya we live in, majority of the voters
survive on less than a dollar a day, some are dying without food and water,
some in NEP does not even know they live in Kenya while you read or hear
the likes of Kibaki tena Mr. Lee Karuri holding a luncheon for $15,000 a
plate, Kenyan’s wake up ONE MILLION
KENYA SHILLINGS IN CASH PER PLATE!!! Doyou know how many people can feed
on kshs1 Million?? Do the math based on 1 family of four in Mukuru-ini living
on less than kshs. 70/day.
And this is the Gorvenment we want to re-elect for another 5 years, my sincere
message to former President “It is your democratic right to Support anyone”
but do not advice poor Kenyans to vote for your choice for the blame of
poverty in Kenya is squarely on you for those 24 years you were busy embezzling
those known 1B Pounds, you perpetrated tribalism to the top and now you
are branding opposition politicians as tribalist! Shame on you and your Kibaki’s
and time will tell - I wish
we would get a government that will mean ZERO tolerance to corruption – all
of you including Murungaru’s , Awori’s and Kibaki would be supporting the
choices from jail.
