We condemn this act

On behalf of ODM Embakasi Branch, I want to condemn the unwarranted attack on Hon William Ruto, Hon Omingo Magara, Hon Chris Obure, Mr Chris Bichage and others by goons hired by Hon Mzee Simon Nyachae in Kisii yesterday.

We are also saddened by the fact that Hon Nyachae could boast thereafter that he has the capacity to reign terror down here on earth, and this, in the full presence of the Police force, a force that is funded by the sweat of all Kenyans.

We call upon the same Police to arrest Nyachae and others who planned this dastardly act on our leaders. By parading a proscribed group the amachuma in broad day light, Nyachae has told the world that he is the one who has been bankrolling the terror this group has visited on our Kisii brethren for all this time.

The Kisii people must now deal with this menace of a man and vote him out of power.

If we are to revenge this kind of behaviour, we will all make Kenya a theatre of the political mayhem never witnessed anywhere else in the recent times. And we are happy that this kind of behaviour is coming from the government side, not from the peace loving people of Kenya.

We call on our ODM colleagues in Kisii to remain firm in their conviction, and come election time, to consign Nyachae, Kibaki and Moi to the dustbins of political history, once and for all.

We must all fix this problem.
