Time to go ...

The good book, The Bible, in some page says that a man shall live for 70 years. The rest is bonus. He can choose to be relevant and become a sage. He can choose to become a nuisance and become irrelevant. He can also choose to become a constant irritant, or still, he could become senile, in which case, he becomes God's case.

And we all know, God's case has no appeal.

If the good book is such explicit, why is it that in Kenya, people who have lived most of their useful lives, have bounced back to public life with such gusto?

I remember Kenyans voting out Mzee Moi and his Uhuru project overwhelmingly in December of 2002. I thought that the man would want to be viewed in awe as we view icons such as Mandela, Kaunda, Hassan Mwinyi, and others before him.

I was mistaken.

There is alot that went wrong during Moi's tenure that he shudders with fear knowing that Kenyans could for the first time take charge of their destiny. He fears this to an extent that he would rather 'oketh nyinge to oger dende'.

Kenyans must act decisively and take Kenya back. And Hon Raila MUST ignore Moi. He should not engage him at all. The man is irrelevant now. He is down. Any more blows could kill him.

Then we have another old man; Simon Nyachae. I do not know how to describe his case. What he did was so obvious. We all saw him inspect a guard of honour mounted by chinkororo. He then went ballistic on a war cry, and boasted of his infallibility. All this in front of the cameras, the provincial administration, the police and the people.

When he turns around and blames Ruto and Magara, and the press, the last case scenario becomes relevant; the man could be God's case, in which case, we have no appeal. The Kisii voters will deal with him firmly this time around.

This was the week when another man past the recomended Biblical life span, Mzee Mwai Kibaki, went to Nyeri and told the Kikuyu to come out and vote en mass, to protect the presidency; I thought he was the President of Kenya!

These are wonders that should be classified.

I know desparate times calls for desperate measures, but for the President to retreat to his tribe, is not acceptable.

Then we have one young irritant; Kalonzo Musyoka. The man has lost the focus of the struggle. He has turned his guns on us, which could mean, the man never knew why we were in the struggle.

Can Mutula Kilonzo tell him that what we are fighting for as Kenyans is not Raila Odinga. Maybe, Mutala is not the best messenger, for his hands are also tied. He does not seem to know what the problems are as well.

This calls for all Kenyans of goodwill to remain in the trenches till the battle is won. We now have all Moi projects in one basket; PNU. And we now know how PNU is composed; Kanu, ODM-K, Ford-P, Ford-K, DP, and others.

We must now treat all these parties as Moi projects, and subject them to the same artillary we used againgst the first Project.

It is good we now mave massive fire power.
