I read an article from this website written by a Kikuyu girl known by the name mercy. IAm a Luo by right and it so happened that am having a Kikuyu Aunty who also went through your article young girl. She simply asked me what exactly is in the minds of such dear kikuyus. We are becoming tired of this tribal outburst directed towards the people from the lake. I have a right to be a Luo and nobody can change that.

This part of kenya has very intelligent people and that’s the reason why people cant just be cheated like fools. Kenyatta destroyed nearly all the Economic infrastructure in Luo Nyanza and Moi made it even more worse and why cant Kibaki not do the same. It is not only Luos who are resident of Kibera, majengo and Mathare but nearly all Kenyans. The expansion of slums is a sign of failure of third world regimes of which Kibaki is a part of. Some of us are now caught up in this wave of hate and it is a shame for such a thing to happen in the 21st century Kenya.

My only advise to ladies like Mercy is that she should embrace Jesus and put kenya first and not Luos. Some Kenyans abroad still behave the same and can never support you fairly unless you are from their tribe. That’s why we are almost reduced into a moron society.
