luo educational decline From: Tom Oteyo Further to your request on jaluo.com, my suggestions are as follows. First it is a reality that with the kind of syllabus in existence in our education system, there is no way that any teacher can be thorough. Secondly our teachers are still buried in the past where the aim is to bread doctors, engineers or such professions where mathematics holds supreme and therefore they are concentrating too much on math. If you see the last years primary school results you will see am right. Third I believe education starts at the college or university level and therefore we should practice what is called mass production for the university. I did my primary education more that 20 years ago and in all that time no one has ever asked me what I got in my primary education or even in my secondary education. But i am always asked about the university I attended or what I did in the university. Other regions are excelling in mass production by drilling pupils and students to pass exams. The argument that those drilled end up performing poorly at the university is hog wash because these guys finish their university education and end up getting prime jobs while our well taught ones tarmac for ever PLEASE LET US DRILL OUR CHILDREN AND MAKE MASS PRODUCTION FOR THE UNIVERSITIES!!!!
