Duoko kuom Migosi Boaz: Presidential campaigns are not wholly localized Migosi Boaz e posting mare mar SIASA 2007 ne ogolo pache kawacho ni Jakom ok oningo owuo about tieko mibadhi, kata duoko mwandu joKenya mane okwak to oket oko. Omedoni Jakom o concentrate mana e weche mag skul, barabara etc. Adwaro nyiso Boaz ni kik obed gi luoro moror amora. Jakom, an kata en, waduto wangeyo how powerful jogo ma osekwelo are in this country, and we wouldnt want to antagonise them at this point in time. However, presidential campaign audience is not confined to locals/kenyans in Kenya only. There are other interests in these campaigns. the international community would want to know clearly what kind of government Jakom would want to put in place and what he would do about corruption. they can be very key allies in campaign like this if they agree with your policy. they can also be detractors if they dont believe you stand for justice and fairness. on the same footing, international investors, friends and campaign supporters would also want to hear what he would do with past corruption and human rights injustices. So Jakom is just playing smart. But I agree with Boaz that he should keep it moderate and not go overboard at this point. thanks Wuod Luo Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
