Re: The reasons for attack & destroy

Have you ever wondered why friends,neighbors,colleagues,school mates,college mates,communities,fellow church members and enemies attack one person out of the so many? History has full of reasons.Here are some. If you wish,you can add.

1.Whenever people attack,it's because they know that you have something that they don't have.
2.Whenever people fail to earn your fame,do well at school like you,live your kind of life,have a good family like yours,or have a good job like yours,the only other alternative is hate,destroy,and if possible kill.
3.My late father used to warn me "Yaa mosione(my son)remember that when people see that you are making progress,they will always do everything to pull you back and so watch and leave them alone."
4.Just think about this: Do you think everybody is excited when you pull those doubles? Don't some of them after all try to undermine and if possible get you fired?

Do we have any Biblical examples? Yes,but I will limit myself to three.

1.Do you remember the young man Joseph? He was hated by his brothers who instead of killing him, decided to sell him. They even nicknamed him "a dreamer." Why? One because his dreams implied that some day he would be Lord over them. And two,because his father loved him more than them,both of which Joseph had no control whatsoever.
2.Think about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was the only perfect person ever lived on earth. But He was hated and even crucified.
3.You remember Lazarus of Bethany,the brother of Mary and Martha,the family that Jesus loved? After he had been brought back to life,people wanted to kill him so as to destroy evidence of the on going miracle.

What was the outcome?

1.Joseph became that which God had intended him to become to the disappointment of his brothers.
2.God took care of Jesus.He was able to accomplish His mission on earth.
3.God took care of Lazarus such that He lived to bear witness of that which Jesus was able to do.

So dear friends, so long as you know that deep in your heart you have nothing against the sons and daughters of man,and you are out to do your things,just move forward knowing that He who knows even the hairs of our heads, will surely grant success that will a shame your detractors.All that we need is God's blessings and protection.Don't you agree with me?
