re: Is Raila a Fascist

I have read the article written by Mr Ngugi (attached) and one must commend the writer for his research peppered with facts, yet very attractive in style. I do agree with the writer at every point and possibly, I can only add a few points regarding Raila's utterances which contradict his behaviour.
 
It is typical of demagogues and fascists to suffer vacillations depending on their moods. When Raila got a Nigerian to write his story, he admitted that he was the man behind the 1982 bloody and failed coup. It is an admission which he had thought would earn him plaudits and secure him the credit of James Bond... The Man with the Gold Gun, while reducing us to theatre goers...an admission which he now realises was a mistake. It is now giving him a big headache and making him a good customer to Welcome-Glaxo, and I hear even of Pfizer. It is even being rumoured that he has been soliloquizing, sometimes even talking in his sleep and debunking that complicity. Recently, like someone suffering from dementia and the consequential memory loss, he has been going round on his campaign trails denying his involvement in the coup. I still remember the horrors I suffered, to be woken up from the serenity of life offered within the university halls of residence, in the wee hours of a bright dawn, back in August the 2nd 1982, by popping sounds, not of pop corns or Christmas crackers but sounds of guns as they tore the fresh, torsos and brains of men, deceived by Raila that the kingdom was theirs to take as he watched from a safe distance, sipping the Famous Grouse whisky to calm his breaking nerves and uttering some indecipherable sounds and dressed like an obese woman. Perhaps Raila thinks that Kenyans have no memory, perhaps he thinks that they can buy his oratory merchandize without asking questions, but whatever his perhapses are, he cannot fool most people most of the times. But if there are some followers enchanted like a bird by a snake before it swallows its victim whole, most Kenyans have enough intelligence to see the colour of the snake despite its camouflage.
 
But there are things that cannot be forgotten. Corruption must be fought across the board. Selective fighting and empty rhetoric will not deliver Kenyans from the throes of the beast. Raila today is a proud owner of 280ha of land belonging to Muhoroni Sugar Company, which he illegally acquired but which he wants everyone to forget. Perhaps he should ask Kenyans to forgive him for fleecing them of Ksh616 million, valuing the land at a million an acre (a hectare is approximately 2.2 acres) Its value is likely to be much more than that.
 
Raila's gem in his team is one William Ruto whose lips drip red with ill-gotten wealth most of which came from the infamous YK-92 and whose booty Ruto sped off with...a ton of Jirongo's (a five hundred note). Perhaps his eyes now are on ten tons of the one thousands notes if he becomes the Prime Minister. God help Kenya! I do not know how much a ton of Jirongo's amount to but it surely is something that can build several fully equipped schools and possibly pay the teachers for several years...all that now in the pocket of Redeemer Ruto! And that is the messiah that we are waiting for.
 
Let those with eyes see, and ears hear for the messiah will not come riding on a donkey but on a Hammer of ill-gotten wealth fuelled by high octane lies.
 
Lastly but not least, I would like to state that America has never and does not respect other people's sovereignty. If anything, it wants to create suzerainty around the world. I will not go into the history of American invasion of Korea back in 1952 nor the uncalled for American ingress into Vietnam from 1956, to support a puppet rebel, Ngo Dihn Diem, or the consequential massacre of three million Vietnamese using Agent Orange as Vietnamese, as Americans would, tried to defend their country against foreign invasion but I will say that what we have seen of late of Ambassador Reignburger (sorry Mike, forgive the spelling if I got wrong) going around Kenya and behaving every part the governor of a suzerain American state is what he has worked out with Raila so that America can bankroll his campaign in exchange of Kenya's independence, which is to be sold to America and to make Kenya slaves of a Wild Bank   in an International Monetary Fraud for ever and ever. But may the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with Kenya where their hope lies and not with American Ambassador and his dollars as Raila does. But perhaps, nothing defines RAIL-A more than his name spelt backwards!
