RE: Rongo Continuency 2007

I found the article,below, authored by you & I have the following comments thus:

1] It was addressed to Rongo Proffesional Association so bear with me since I am neither from Rongo nor a Proffesional as it were.

2] I am responding becuase you made it Public thus inviting Public scrutiny.

3] Let me add to you that Rongo Constituency used to be under the larger Homa Bay Constituency & two more people were MPs i.e Aloyce Achieng[from Kochia] & Ray Ndong [from Kochia].

4] Your article does not sound like it was written to Proffesionals becuase it sounds like just another gutter press aimed at smearing the name of the sitting Honourable MP.I do not see the difference between what you wrote & Leo Odera Omolo's gutter press.

5] "Japuonj pod nindo" -- all & sundry know why Japuonj Owala Orwa was famed as Japuonj pod nindo & you deliberately omitted that.Yes,Japuonj had no time[allegedly] for his Constituents so his wife would not let people see him saying that he is still in bed.

6] Oluoch Kanindo alias Galamoro-- A great man of the people who became an MP when I was a student in Rongo.The man is an orator per excellence & likable & may be the best MC Luo Nyanza ever had.Kamagambo power[read Oyugi & Dalmas] hauled him out of politics when he was bribed with Chairmanship of SONY Sugar Co.Kindly tell us what he did as an MP.We will not believe you if you claim to be proffesional & spoiling Kanindo's name over his many wives[this is gutter].Believe I you that Otieno could have not managed to beat a sitting Hon. Kanindo.Let me remind you that as an Assistant Minister for Education,Kanindo filled Kenyan TTC's with Rongo boys & girls.

7] Dalmas Otieno- Became an MP & straight to the Cabinet.Remember he was the first person from Homa Bay/Rongo Constituency to become a Minister.No doubt Dalmas,wuod bade boyo, did a good job & we all aplaud[ed] him,however,these were the years of Oyugi Ogango alias Kalam maduong' & they could get basically anything.Let me remind you also that Kangeso School is in his village & so is Rongo Police station/post.I am told that even the grade cows & Paultry as well.Some of us who look at the broader picture faults Dalmas over his sticking with Kanu[read Moi & Biwott] & saying that a Luo cannot become a President[we are yet tp forgive him].Oh yes,Thabiti Finace was a pride to Luoland & how I wish it could be revived. Best regrads Dalmas "wuod bade boyo."

8] Ochilo Ayako- Odhiambo Omolo are you sure this is all you can say about your sitting MP ? The immorality case is in Court & Proffesionals don't address what learned lawyers are handling so I will not dwell on it.I remember that Ochilo became an MP at a tender age when his year mates[at undergrad]were still doing their graduate School.Secondly he joined politics at a time when the Govt was very hostile to Luoland as opposed to Otieno time when they[Otieno-Oyugi] were a Govt to themselves.

9] Leo Odera Omolo-- Last but not least this is a man you believe is credible yet his work over the years is to antagoise Luo all the way from Odinga time,to the infamous Kanu briefs of 1992 to Ochilo Ayako case.I am told that he sits in bars in Kisumu waiting to be brought to write malice on politicians.What he wrote on the two Constituencies in my District were lucking in facts.I mean this is not a credible journalist even if he & Philip Ochieng' are the first Luo journalists.
