Kimunyanomics at the NSE Finance minister, Mr Amos Kimunya and ODM presidential candidate, Mr Raila Odinga, have differed over claims the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE) was affected by ODM's surge in the recent opinion polls. Kimunya claimed NSE's value was plunging as a result of ODM's lead in recent opinion polls. He claimed over Sh200 billion had been lost at the NSE over fears of an ODM leadership. But Raila claimed the Government had hatched a plan to manipulate shares at the NSE to force a decline and then blame it on him.
