RE:VOTER TURN OUT IN LUO NYANZA. by JARED ODHIAMBO WUOD
GONGO
To all descendants of Ramogi,I salute you all wherever you are.Much
has been said about who is likely to win the presidential race and factors
that may in a way tilt the balance.
We must as a matter of fact agree that VOTER TURN OUT is one out of the fundamental issues that will determine the winner and hence should not be undermined. Past elections have proved that LUO NYANZA suffers most from voter
apathy,a fact that I fear if not addressed may be detrimental to JAKOM'S quest
for the house on the hill. The battle is not yet won until it is won JOTHURWA.
Do you people know that JORABUON sani koro ka lakgi ni
telo to ok anewuog from their hands easily? To them it is a matter
of life and death. As a result they are marshalling all their arsenals for
this great battle.Believe me you these people will vote 99.999%.Second to
that they have planned to rig the elections being that they are starting this
battle on the advantaged position-(Incumbency).
JOTHURWA ,the only way to counter this is to ensure that we WHIP
KIBAKI THOROUGHLY in Luo Nyanza and other places where we have massive support
like some parts of R/Valley,Western and Coast. This will widen the gap that
will be difficult to bridge through rigging.
This brings me to the next question:Who will bell the
cat? The answer is simple; You and me.I propose that in every
constituency in Luo Nyanza, let us have a team of young and energetic
people who should walk from door to door ,home to home to remind
our people that come 27th Dec they should Vote and vote for JAKOM.This
team should on the election day walk from home to home to ensure that everyone
has voted. The old should be ferried to the polling stations, the sick
should be bed ridden as well. This will ensure that we Vote 99.99%.The
same should be extended to our friends in R/Valley ,Western and Coast.
Winning this battle is hard ,it needs an extra sacriface......let
us all sacrifice if we want to be in Uhuru park on 29th Dec to celebrate the
sweet victory.ORITI URU NYIKWA RAMOGI
Jared Odhiambo -Wuod Gongo.
