PRESIDENT MUSEVENI AND BUSH TO DISCUSS KENYAN ELECTIONS

From: Lucia Akech

Museveni has been summoned by President Bush to discuss OIL on Lake Albert. When the America leader summons an African flunky to the White House, it must be about some natural resource findings in an Africa territory. Additionally, Museveni will need arms in exchange for some mercy support to offer security and cover  to the foreign entity whether he likes or not.

You see, African leaders do not have the equipments or technologies needed to explore or harvest the vast minerals in their territories. Most of the time, they do not even know that these minerals exist!   Freelance Mineral explorers are everywhere Africa conducting mineral searches. Most of these searches are conducted without the knowledge of the so called African leaders.

When a discovery is made, the foreign entities could dig these minerals unimpeded. After all they do posses their own elite private armies which can   fend off any dissent from local land owners. However, digging the minerals in an "independent" African territory without an appearance of some fake permission from an African elit would be problematic. There has to be a cover by the local   elites which they call "plausible deniability". They have to make it look as if the African government stooges gave the permission for the mineral to be harvested.  The African guards, in form of Museveni or Kabila, with pump up ego act as if they are in partnership with foreigner mineral diggers. Museveni must be very excited because sitting at some dinner table with the President of the USA is a gigantic ego booster. What he may not know until later on is that the price tag attached to that dinner to the Ugandan people will be huge!!!

It is very interesting to note that African leaders would do anything when given reason to do so by their foreign bosses including butchering their own citizens. The oil interest developing on Lake Albert has reached a climax. There is already standoff between the armed forces of Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo. The average peace loving people of both countries living around Lake Albert are going to lose their lands and lives or become refugees somewhere. The phenomenon keeps repeating itself in every corner of Africa where minerals are discovered.  People are dying while minerals are harvested and the local elites have guns to defend themselves and their foreign bosses.

Why can't the Uganda and Congolese Government sit down and discuss peaceful methods of harvesting the oil on  Lake Albert and share the revenues? Because their greedy foreign bosses behind the scenes must have it all.  African leaders are not patriotic enough to protect either the land or the citizens. This is the African tragedy!!!

Why shouldn't the governments of Ugandan and Democratic Republic of Congo be responsible for remove dangerous spikes that were erected in Lake Albert by the British Colonial Government in Uganda to ward off the Belgian colonial government in Congo? The British and Belgian governments should be responsible for the removal unless the leaders of Uganda and DRC are in bed with Oil companies interested in harvesting the newly found oil fields in Lake Albert at the expense of the average Congolese and Ugandan citizens.
