CATHOLIC CLERICS AND THE NJAU FACTOR

Dear all

It is with total disappointment and dismay that Cardinal Njau can show the world what he is made of just after couple of days after being ordained at the helm of Catholic church.

We clearly note that Catholic structure is based on regionalism aka
(Majimbo),with the Vatican being the central of it's operation in Italy and representatives worldwide.

Even in Kenya and world over,the doctrine of Majimboism has seen the church
grow overwhelming ie each region has a diocese and headed by a bishop and
his local team.

Why now blast Majimbo system which is a proposed and an idea whose time has come for Kenyan public at large.By faulting Majimbo and say you do not
support any presidential candidate is hypocritical of the highest order,because on the contrary,the nay crusaders already feel favored by your untimely outburst.

We catholic sympathizers feel let down because we were not consulted and we
put it straight to you that it was a personal opinion.

If the same church leaders could not give direction during Constitution
referendum which was much more crucial to our lives,why NOW.We can only read mischief and tribal factor in all of these scenarios.

Now to the ODM Pentagon and secretariat,still there is time to educate the
type of devolution we are yearning for,ie 60% of financial,economic and social resources to remain in the region for a quicker development.Move with speed to educate the public and note campaign rallies  are not enough,in order to counter PNU's propaganda machine that majimbo will divide Kenya into tribal units.
