Re: Charity Ngilu hits a new low! From: mosaisi1@ . . . Date: Thu, 4 Oct 2007 07:48:25 -0700 Barasa,
For once let us talk about issues instead of making loaded statements
to avoid scrutiny. I presented my evidence that Ngilu is ridding on the Kikuyu
hate propaganda back to political relevance. I used her own words; not mine. In
my opinion I found the statement to be full of hate. Take another look.
“I was only a spy in the Banana team. There was no way I could have supported
the new draft tailored to suit certain communities and guarantee them power
for ever,” said the minister.
We know exactly what she meant with her "certain communities" statement
because it was widely used by the NO team. They told Kenyan that the constitution
was to give Kikuyus a right to dominate over Kenyans. If you went back to
history you will see that Ngilu was undecided on if to support the draft
or not. Her main worry was not the content of the draft but the political
implications of her stand on the draft. That is why she sent a delegation
of Kamba elders to talk to kibaki and present her condition for supporting
the draft. The conditions she gave had nothing to do with the words in the
draft. Have a look:
It is silly of her to burn the Kikuyu strawman in an attempt
to rescue her rattings.
You said, "Come Saturday Ngilu will rebound and I guess
you are now hating the respectful Mama Rainbow just because she will soon
be joining ODM."
Your statement shows exactly what is wrong with Kenya. Any monkey
jump off the tree and and be welcome to the human race as long as it joins
the right team. We have the Rutos, Kosgeys, Ntimamas, Mudavadis etc etc whose
sins have been forgotten now that they are in right team. Ngilu's rebound
will not depend on what she had done for Kenyans since she was elected but
on joining the band. No wonder the Jirongo's are rushing to be clensed by
the holy orange juice.
Ngilu said she will join the ODM team to get her share
(2nd VP) in the proposed bloated ODM governemnt.

Barasa, why do
you think Orange needed Ngilu's spying services? Do you think a person who
was once rated as a presidential material should degrade herself to the level
of spying for another camp? I thought that is left to the ugali eaters like
Kamotho?
Thank god for the internet. The liers shall be caught! Here are
Mama Ngilu's activities when she was "spying" for the Orange team and pretending
to be supporting the Kikuyu Domination masterplan.
Sources close
to Ngilu revealed she had been sulking because her name was missing
from the list of Yes team campaigners Justice Minister Kiraitu Murungi
submitted to the Electoral Commission and which bore the names of politicians
from her region who she felt were of lesser profile.
Barasa, I will love to discuss points based on evidence instead
on generalised talks like Kikuyus have eaten, ODM will root out tribalism,
etc. Show me how the Kikuyus in Kibera are eating alone as then I will buy
your blanket statement. In the mean time I will maintain my stand that tribes
don't eat; individuals do. Wako, Jirongo, Mudavadi, Gumo etc did not eat with
the Luhya. The VP seat that was held by Mudavadi, Wamalwa, and Awori did
not benefit the Luhya. Likewise Chunga, Oyugi, Dalmas Otieno, Raila Odinga,
Okiki Amayo, Bishop Ondiek etc did not eat with the Luo.
It is high time we realized that what we are dealing with is a
class issue and not a tribal issue. Tribalism only exists at the ground where
politicians hype it to keep their tribesmen in groups and trade these groups
for political and economic power. These tribal groups also come in to play
when the big fish have are being threatened. We saw our Luo brothers defend
former prosecutor and Chief Justice Chunga he was supended saying that Luos
were bing finished. Chunga's role in the Nyayo dictatorship was quickly
forgotten. I laugh when people tell me that their tribe has been promised
a big seat in government.
