CALLING A SPADE A BIG SPOON

Koigi Wa Wamwere fought hard for the second liberation as a young turk I must say. During those days he sounded righteous and he became a houselhold name in Kenya and abroad. Jaramogi Oginga Odinga fought hard for his release against great odds. It is because of his democratic fight that he even obtained refuge in Sweden where sad to say he used to dress like a hippy funk not like the up and coming Kenyan political leader.

When Koigi Wa Wamwere came out of jail and was was asked what he thought of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga he said without batting an eye, 'I cannot work with a dead old man!' Unquote.

This same Koigi Wa Wamwere is now loyally serving under Kibaki government where corruption, cronysm, tribalisim, theft of public funds, arrogance are at a much higher level than they were under Moi. Under Kibaki, he has chosen to see no evil and hear no evil.

This is the same Koigi Wa Wamwere who told Kibaki immediately after he was elected to office that he should not accept MoU's demand for the establishnment of the post of prime minister as to do so was like him digging his own grave.

This is the same Koigi who is telling us now that Majimbo will balkanise the country into tribes, knowing that Majimbo has succeeded in Japan , USA, Great Britain, Germany, South Africa, Namiibia, Nigeria, to mention but a few.

In those countries numerated above, economic development is done under affirmative action plan, where all the republics or provinces get equal distribution of wealth, and are indeed competing with one another for deveplopment.

Mr. Koigi Wa Wamwere, majmbo has pulled from under the tribes the cancer of tribalism in Namibia, Angola and the Republic of South Africa and the provinces are discussing only the most intelligent think, that is how they are pushing ahead with development but not how mount Kenya is sidlining the rest of the country.

Mr. Koigi Wa Wamwere recently protested the killing of Mungiki youth, terming the innocent jobless youth, knowing very well that Mungiki youth are not the only suffering youth in the country. Has he stopped to consider sobberly why Nyanza, Western, Rift Valley and Coast to mention but a few are crimeless provinces?

Mr. Wa Wamwere please, please call a spade a spade, because it is, was not and never will be a small spoon.

Your fear is that majimbo will stop mount Kenya group from dominating the rest of the country politically, economically, socially and in crime.

Watch out! Kenyans are studying you like natural literature if not modern history..
