I firmly believe that we need people like Hon Kajwang to be elected back to parliament.

When we were in the trenches, for all that time, Kajwang handled heavy artillery, he was always in the front line inhaling gas. He was always with us when it rained, he received some heavy blows in the course of the struggle.

In short, he was our heaviest and deadliest striker. He did this for a cause that we are almost winning. Is it the time to discard him, when food is almost being served on the table? Food that he went to all pains to present?

On the other hand, these Johnny come lately are people who were busy making making from whichever sources, so that at the right time, they could come and buy the voter. They stand for nothing, and I believe they are the people who upon being elected, will turn to be the Ochuodhos of this world.

They do not understand what we have been fighting for, and they will not know what to do as soon as they are elected. They will just behave like the Tujus of this world.

Jakom needs a dedicated team of players; people who have been in the frontline fighting for change. Jakom needs people with experience at parliamentary debates, and at governance. People he can rely on to deliver the change agenda. Not charlatans and journey men.

To this extent, I would appeal to our people to elect Kajwang with a landslide. The same should happen with Prof Anyang Nyong'o, Dalmas Otieno, Eng Phillip Okundi, Dr Oburu Odinga, and Odhiambo Oketch in Komarock Ward.

These are people who know what it takes with the change agenda that we are presenting.
