Its the same bull that all you ODMers are spewing on the nets, the free education was only for the Kikuyu, the restored factories from Rivatex, KCC, ADC etc are all just benefiting the Kikuyu, and your capital city which has been cleaned and made presentable again, plus all those awards in recognition of the reforms carried are just for the Kikuyu, You give me a break Paul! I have not even mentioned the turn around of the economy which you ODMers are now touting as no great achievement, I didnt start the net wars you ODMers did, I am just a sucker for the underdog, and so again no apologies from this Lady even though the piece was authored by a different entity but since you chose to address me then these are my thoughts!!!

I can go on record to state that no supporter of ODM stated that the free primary school was for Kikuyus. Remember the free primary school was initiated by the Narc government that included non Kikuyus and it was not by Kikuyus for Kikuyus. The people of Kenya are very aware of what Kibaki has done which falls way short of what he could have done if he worked with the politicians that got him elected and that’s why Kenyans have made up their minds to vote him out.
Mwangi’s point that Kikuyus survived Moi’s 24 year rule and will survive Raila does not compare to the fact that all other tribes have survived Kenyatta, Moi and Kibaki rules combined. Kikuyus were VPs, Ministers of Finance, and held very powerful portfolios during Moi’s rule so suggeting that Kikuyus were undersiege during Moi’s rule is simply not true. No Kikuyu was a political murder during Moi’s rule but several non-Kikuyu Kenyans were murdered for political reasons so surviving Moi’s rule was not difficult for Kikuyus as it was for other Kenyans. Kenyatta gave Kikuyus such a head start financially that will keep them a head of everybody else for many years so if I were Kikuyu, I would not mind supporting other tribes just to start leave alone catching up.
Like white Americans say about black Americans, I can say that some of my best friends are Kikuyus, you included. There is therefore no need to unilaterally condemn the entire Kikuyu community just because of the action of a few bad Kikuyus and demand or expect an apology as Mwangi suggests. In the same way there is no need to deny Raila votes just because he is not a Kikuyu. However, some Kikuyus needs to apologise to Kenyans and in my opininon they are:
1. Lucy Kibaki for holding Kenyans hostage for several hours inside the Standard Newspaper and ridiculing the country and the title of First Lady.

1. Mary Wambui for ignoring private family arrangement and embarassing the President and the First Lady by revealing her relationship with the president
.
1. Winnie Wangui, Mary Wambui’s daughter, for associating with the Artur brothers and using public resources to enable their criminal activities.
1. Chris Murungaru for using public funds to go from rags to riches in a matter of months after becoming a cabinet minister and being involved in Anglo-Leasing.
1. Kirauti Murungi for interfering with John Githongo investigation, Anglo-Leasing and Wako Draft.
1. David Mwariria for his involvement in Anglo-leasing and collaborating with Nderu Ndwiga in Shs 6 million tax scam.
1. Nderu Ndwiga for refusing to pay Shs 6 million in taxes on Shs 150 million land sale.
1. Amos Kimunya for continuing Mwariria corrupt ways at the treasury.
1. Martha Karua for her arrogance in handling constitutional issues.
1. John Michuki for misusing his security docket and frustrating Kenyans and not destroying Mungiki.
1. Aaron Ringera for not prosecuting the Anglo-Leasing culprits and ignoring Githongo findings.
1. President Mwai Kibaki for all the above.
FYI: None of the Kikuyus listed above is a member of the Kibaki’s re-election campaign for the same reasons given but if Kibakiwere to win they would be in charge to continue with their corrupt actions.
Kibaki is going to lose the election not because he is a Kikuyu but because he failed to deliver the promises he made to Kenyans. Kibaki failed to put together a political party machinery to sustain a presidency and that could support a re-election. PNU is way too late and everybody knows that Kibaki is going to abandon it as soon as he loses and Kibaki will let Uhuru and Kanu lead the oppostion in the 10th parliament.
Raila is favored to win the election because he is promising a change from Kibaki’s failed government. Kikuyus are going to vote for Raila because Kibaki has failed. As much as Kibaki is one of their own, many Kikuyus did not benefit from Kibaki failed rule and they are not happy of being perceived as a community that can only support their own. Kikuyus are thinking beyond 2007 election and they will vote for Raila because they will need other communities to vote for a Kikuyu in 2012, 2017, 2022 etc. The Raila I know will support a Kikuyu candidate just like he supported Kibaki. Kikuyus who are now coming out strongly against Raila with some of the most outrageous allegations are showing their tribal agenda in the worst way possible. Its not going to work.
